Solve Everything
Finding Buddha in your pocket will solve everything!
A poem here, came up today in some correspondence. This was all put together completely independent of my knowledge till I discovered it a year or so after this site (using my work) was up. And I have since become friends with their very fine editor there, and they have even featured— represented— a couple of my blog entries. Their most significant one, I think, is this one, titled: The Unfoldment of the Rose. With conventional art they added in! That blog entry tells in some detail of my first, real known connection with Hafiz, that happened in India, some nearly 50 years ago.
In just reading from the, to me, wonderful medley of my Hafiz renderings-inspirations, and looking at some of this exceptional, avant-garde art on this first link! Well, my pen jotted down this:
All day long the sun proposes to intimate
regions on the earth's naked body. And the
earth and myriad of creatures respond, “I
will! I do dear God! But please, my love,
my love, come closer!"
And here, some more word-efforts trying to give, maybe something from Santa's wild bag, with his beautiful month upon us!
Do not walls dissolve in our closeness—
true understanding of them?
Is not a sun there when we are so present
with the miracle of all?
There are words that can lift your wings
to taste the sky.
Angels nest in poems, upon the golden
branch where all lives,
they sing: You can solve everything by
finding Buddha in your pocket!
