Calling A Mosquito Sweetheart!
This is a good rough of an Introduction to a book I am working on. With the book title stated in full below! And hope to get it out as an e-book soon!
Calling A Mosquito Sweetheart! Zen 102
Aka: Buddha After Hours In the Bar
by Daniel Ladinsky
Introduction
Yeah, this is just a four or five page e-book! Why would anyone ever buy that and then maybe not throw a tomato at us via a "Customer's Review?"
Well, because maybe we could offer you a Koan, as it were. You know what those are don't you? If not, Google the word. But solving a koan can be like finding a golden key that could help you unlock some doors, and/or hurdle over some walls that keep your heart and mind more caged than— airborne and loving, or more knowing . . . thus more in awe at the wonders of existence, and your own being! Your own miraculous being!
Like here is a koan for ya:
How could you and Buddha be chewing
the same piece of chicken?
I bet Yoda would know the answer to that one! But our main koan, as it were, for this book is:
Could God & Buddha really call a mosquito
and Everything sweetheart?
We will explore that! And if they could, then maybe you could, and that might help crank your party way up!
Soooo, having been a student of a great Zen master; and of Meher Baba for years, since I was 20! And from having been doing some serious pearl-diving in Rumi's & Hafiz's wine barrels for some fifty years, well, hope to offer you a couple golden keys that can help your Jailhouse Rock!
Also, anyone who buys this e-book can get a free, famous Hafiz bumper sticker that says ...
Love Kicks the Ass Of Time & Space.
Having that on your car might help ya find a sweetheart if you are looking for one! I know it has gotten me offers!
That bumper sticker would be available at my website at danielladinsky.com. . . via my wonderful agent, Melissa, who handles everything there!
Further, I must have some maybe 60 or so now blog entries there that are free to read, and some of them, well most of them, will be used as chapter foundations, and in some real ways are little books in themselves. I get a lot into some of the Rumi, Hafiz & Buddha after hours in the bar there. With some great glass clinks! Some high fives from the Sun and the moon, and the rivers and the mountains! And the birds! And from your deeper astounding — Self!
Thanks, thanks if you are reading this with a kind look in your eyes. Or better yet a smile, or the soul's knowing laugh, from being able to call Everything, Everything your — sweetheart!
