The Magic Hat

It should be like this: we can marvel at things as if they were just pulled from a Magic Hat. That is really where the universes came from. And a turtle and a fish, and a bird, and us. And God!

Children can so help me know that at times. Being the wonders, the miracles they really are — becoming suns & moons right before our eyes; and letting us feel their precious light and wonder. Even before they can speak, they say, "Look at me, remember more of your heart again and wanting to play, so we can sit on a branch with an angel in the sky — and sing! Sing! We need to sing & dance, and laugh & love!"

A sun! Sometimes my hand is that. Or a look in someone's eye. A kind word. A kiss from a dog! A wave from a tree. A wink from a flower!

We are organic earths. We need golden rain. We need warm light!

Hafiz says on page 56 in The Gift…

The tide of my love has risen so high, let

me flood over you.

Close your eyes for a moment and maybe

all your fears and fantasies will end.

If that happened — God would become an

infant in your arms,

and then we, we could nurse creation

together!

Good poetry, the golden rain is there. The rich, warm nutrients to become luminous and free! Free! And then so give, and regain our innocence as a divine child, the suns & moons & stars — that we really are. And a blessed happiness we can wake with in the morning now and then! Know is so real inside! A great goodness!

Anything from the Magic Hat, which is everything, only really wants to help; wants you to hold it, have that power to bestow— pull from your pocket— whatever, whatever you want the world to have; at least the world that knows your feet and touch!

And that infant, the holy infant. That is really us. Hold yourself with more care, and all your eyes can nourish, which is really all you see!
