Yep!
Is God really saying — Yep to everything? It seems this koan, in a previous blog, makes a strong case for that; well, at least to me.
For to me, existence (aka: everything) is part of the Ocean of God, and sooooo Buddha is high-fiving it! And can there be anything beyond existence? Yep, cause Meher Baba speaks about there being a "Beyond-Beyond God also,” in a famous prayer of his called The Master's Prayer! I bet that is where the party really starts — beyond all but One, and the real Yeps kick in! And you might find yourself midair on that butterfly wing! And your every cell becomes a golden pot of manna & overflowing suns!
I don't plan to get into anything quite so heavy — or too cerebral— at the reading-play the below flyer mentions. And looks like it is gonna happen. And could get sold out, so maybe book a seat early if ya thought of coming.
But I could veer off into some theological heights during the evening. And plan to debut a playful koan I recently wrote that will probably become famous, and others will find tasty too! And I could easily start crying from being so touched — reading some beautiful poems of Hafiz & Rumi. And if I start getting too into my own world, I hope someone in the audience shouts out … “Tell us more about Jellyfish!” And this is exactly why I brought them along, billed in the flyer, have them in the line up! So I don't turn into one big crazy old cowboy — cry-baby!
Rumi, Hafiz, Elvis & Carl Jung?

A Play-Reading by Daniel Ladinsky
Yep, the reading-play is basically that, as titled. And shouldn't disappoint any real connoisseurs of any of the five heavy-hitters just mentioned. Michelangelo even does a cameo— via a knockout poem of his being read, and some interesting facts about his life, art & romantic loves.
This will be an evening of audience-interaction and fun. It will swing back and forth from the earth to the sky. You might even feel the sun caress your cheek. With prizes for trivia questions about Elvis, Carl and — wow wee … Jellyfish! The first 20 who come will get their choice of a new magic pen or a wonderful Hafiz bumper sticker! One could read more about what to expect on my recent blogs at danielladinsky.com
